A Designer Who Understands
Our founder’s career in fashion began years ago, working for major companies in women’s and children’s apparel — gaining deep industry knowledge while witnessing firsthand the cycle of overproduction and waste. She later moved into couture custom design, where garments are created with intention, precision, and craftsmanship.
As a very petite woman with narrow shoulders, she knows what it’s like to try on dozens of pieces and walk away empty-handed. She understands how meaningful it is when fashion truly reflects the body it was designed for. That personal frustration became a mission.
From Frustration to Fashion
Inspired by her beloved late father’s words — “Nature is our natural mother” — she set out to create a brand that celebrates individuality, honors the natural diversity of women’s bodies, and treats fashion as a form of self-expression.
Over years of working closely with diverse clients, she saw how transformative a precise fit can be. It doesn’t just change how a garment looks — it changes how a woman feels. A perfectly fitted blazer becomes armor. A custom-cut skirt becomes confidence. That belief is the foundation of MaisonFit.

The Name
Maison is French for “house” — an homage to the great fashion houses that built their reputations on exquisite craft. Fit is our promise: every piece we make will fit you like it was made for you. Because it was.
Our symbol, Athena — the goddess of wisdom and craftsmanship — represents what we stand for: strength, skill, and quiet confidence. We think of a perfectly tailored garment as a woman’s modern armor.
